#1 Ajaz Patel 10/119 NZ vs IND at Mumbai
The most memorable moment that could stick in cricket fans’ minds for a long time is the rarest feat that Ajaz Patel achieved at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Ajaz clinched a 10-wicket haul by conceding 119 runs in the first innings; he took 47.5 overs to subjugate the streak of English Off-spinner Jim Laker & Indian spin wizard Anil Kumble. He took 14 wickets in total in the Mumbai Test match. Later a plethora of blessings showered on him by the heavyweights of Cricket like Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara. #2 Rohit Sharma 264 (173) IND vs SL at Kolkata
Rohit Sharma got the weakest link of the Sri Lanka bowling line-up in a one-day match at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. He then smashed 264 runs in 173 balls with a strike rate of 152.6. This is the highest individual score by the batsman in One-day internationals. Till the 40th over, Rohit had scored a century, but he was looking calm and very conservative in the approach, but in the last ten overs, the whole SL team flew in the storm of Rohit Sharma’s batting. While SL came to bat, they got rattled on 251 runs, and in the end, India won the match by a significant margin of 153 runs.
#3 Sachin Tendulkar 200* (147) IND vs SA at Gwalior
Sachin Tendulkar’s epic double hundred made a place at no 3 in the list; this is the first double-ton by any batsman in the limited-overs format of international cricket. Sachin scored 200* in 147 deliveries with a scoring rate of 136.05 at Gwalior. He was, as usual, looking in a top-notch touch against the South Africans; he was taking on every bowler from the South African bowling line-up. #5 Ravindra Jadeja 175* & 9/87 at Mohali
This was the finest number of any all-rounder in Test matches at Indian venues. In the first Test match against Sri Lanka, Ravindra Jadeja scored 175* in 228 deliveries and later picked up 5 wicket haul in the first innings, which rattled Sri Lankans on a score of 178. While Jadeja couldn’t do a lot with the blade in 2nd innings, as India gave a follow-on to Sri Lanka, Ravindra Jadeja came up to bowl again and this time barged on 4 wickets and delivered a fantastic win to India by an innings & 222 runs.
