Karn Sharma
Karn Sharma, the wrist-spinner, made his debut in 2009 for Royal Challengers Bangalore. However, with Anil Kumble being the team’s leading spinner, Karn Sharma didn’t manage to pick a spot in the team for the whole season.
Karn Sharma was signed by Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2013. He proved his potential along with the super powers Amit Mishra and Dale Steyn. After being retained by Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2016, he won the championship for SRH. In 2017, he was bought by Mumbai Indians for 3.2 crores. He picked up 13 wickets in 9 matches. The demand for the wrist spinner got higher in the 2018 auction.
In 2018 Karn Sharma was bought by Chennai Super Kings for five crores. Karn Sharma, along with Imran Tahir, Ravindra Jadeja, Harbhajan Singh, and Mitchell Santner, added more options for MS Dhoni. The wrist-spinner got dominated by other spinners from his team, and it provided only a limited chance for Karn Sharma to perform. However, he won the champions title for CSK in that season. Imran Tahir’s wicket-taking ability made Karn sit back and watch in 2019. Imran picked up 26 wickets, which made it difficult for his competitor to be on the team. He could play only one match in the 2019 season, and he managed a wicket from it.

So who did it better?
It seems like Parthiv Patel is the only player who is more successful under all three franchises. Unfortunately, Karn Sharma didn’t get many opportunities to prove his super powers. Southee was unable to survive in Indian conditions. The environment of team management is an essential element for the players to provide the best out of themselves. And it varies according to the character of the players to get adapted to the franchise’s environment.
