Tim Southee
IPL has never been so easy for the New Zealand right-arm fast bowler, Tim Southee. He started his IPL career under the Chennai based franchise. In 2011, his debut for CSK was against Kolkata Knight Riders. Anyhow, Tim Southee managed to be on the Champions side in that season. He managed to take four wickets in 5 matches in that season. However, he didn’t find ways to survive in the Indian flat pitches.
Later in 2014 and 15, he played for Rajasthan Royals. In the 2016 IPL auction, Mumbai Indians splurged 2.5 crores on Tim Southee. He played under the Mumbai based franchise for the seasons of 2016 and 2017. He managed to grab 12 wickets in 14 matches for MI.
RCB bought Tim Southee for one crore in the Ipl 2018 auction. The lack of rhythm in performance continues for Tim Southee. He could pick up only six wickets in 11 matches for RCB. In the 2020 sale, it seemed to be disappointing for Southee as he went unsold.
